Home studies coming fast!

As many of you know, its been an up and down journey in the last few weeks. There was some confusion with our paper work, resulting in a delay (of at least 3 months). We weren't going to be able to do anything during that time, which for us was hard because we had planned our semester around being home more so we could move forward with the home studies. Oh well, God's timing…

This past week, much has changed, and we have been assigned a home study consultant who will  be conducting our home studies. The challenge now, is that down time we had, has now passed, and we are in an extremely busy season of life, on the road a lot. I try to explain to people that when its slow on campus, its the busiest for us…which is right now. Our consultant would like to get things moving, even in the midst of our traveling schedule, soooo, we have our first home visit tomorrow morning at 9am. I found this out earlier this week, when I was out of town. I flew into town late last night and we are supposed to have our entire house ready. Ha, thats not going to happen, but I'll try.

With things already on the calendar today--a call with my boss (can't cancel that!!) and a block party in the neighborhood on my favorite holiday it doesn't leave a lot of time to get things done. Not to mention we leave in a few days for a conference I'm co-leading. Long story short, we could use your prayers….we are still on hold in some way but also moving forward with the home visit! 1 of 3!
