How many times have I written this entry. Ok, well maybe just a few. With an absence comes a return. I'm back.

I knew when I wrote the last entry in March that I'd be gone for a while. I just decided not to tell you that. Forgive me.

Yada yada yada....leaving campus, getting married, new move, changed jobs, yada yada yada....I was a little preoccupied. I considered giving it a go a few weeks later. Then a literal tornado wrecked our world which put our world spinning into a figurative tornado. We are trying to get our feet on the ground.

We've moved 5 times since being married, been on summer project in Miami, traveled to CO for staff training, been working tirelessly on support raising, and had a few other minor bumps. I didn't want my blog to become a vent session. Someone recently said to me "You've had more happen to you in your first four months of marriage than most have in their whole life" News flash, thats actually not encouraging. I know how you meant it, but thats not encouraging. But, in all things, we praise God. We praise God we are together, alive, and able to daily live out our faith. There is nothing like it.

I have thought about the perfect 'first blog back.' I was going to sit down and write my thoughts about the name change of CCC. Or generally the theme of God taking things away. More to come on that one. I could give you an update on our summer. Tell you some funny stories...but instead. How about just this.

I'm doing ok. We're doing ok. We're glad to be back home, thankful its fall, and ready for football. Blessings.
