Gone apple picking

This past Sunday, D and headed North, to Ellijay, to do some apple pickin'! Well, sorta. There weren't all that many apples to be picked, but we did spot a few. But, its the experience and scenery you go for right!

It was a stunning drive, clear skies, windows down, and the leaves beginning to turn. I'd call it a perfect fall day! A friend recommended a specific place, so we scouted it out and headed there. It was definitely the place to be--they had pretty much everything to do. We mostly just enjoyed walking through the orchard and enjoying the day, looking for a hopeful apple that was bigger than a cherry and hadn't been eaten alive by the swarming bees!

Enjoy some pictures from our experience, it really was a fun time! I already want to go again next year, but a little earlier in the season so I can actually pick some apples!

Yes please!

Some live entertainment, it was a site to see!

Enjoying a wagon ride.

Notice the small apple we spotted!

I see one!

Absolutely a beautiful day!

So pretty.

The trees they don't let you pick from, but take pictures of :)

So pretty land

Hillcrest Orchard, a great fall day
