Good day for the AFC north

I got home late last night from Pittsburgh. My dad sister and I flew up there Saturday morning for a Steelers game. We try to go to at least one game a year and the Cleveland game is hard to pass up.

Our time in Pittsburgh was simple. We shopped around at the Strip District, Station Square and on the streets and ate a lot of food. No doubt we watched a lot of football in the sports bar and enjoyed being around thousands of other Steelers fans. Its just nice to be around NFL fans. The south is quite lame when it comes to football, in my opinion at least.

We met up with a few of my dads high school friends, shared a few meals together which was nice. Yesterday was the game of course. Rowdy at that. The Browns could be on a 100 game losing streak, which they seem to be on their way, and the Steelers would still be fired up for the game. We sat in the upper deck on the 35 yard line, great seats! Lets take note of a few things. The Steelers won, thus the Clowns (Browns) lost. The Bungals also lost and so did the Ravens. That means that Pitt was the only team in the AFC North to win, which makes me super happy. And, that puts us in a tie for first place :)

Literally when the game was over we took the first boat across the river back to our car and headed to the airport. I made it JUST in time for my flight out.

Good thing I made it too, today is not the best of days for me. I'm having my wisdom teeth pulled this afternoon. Consider it the next step in the process to fixing my jaw completely. So thats today, which means I'll be slightly MIA this week. Pray I don't get sick from the meds, I don't do well with them!

I promise I'll be posting the story thats been long overdo about a student I'm working with soon. Sorry for the delay!

I think you meant to say "the South is pretty lame when it comes to PRO football"-- of which I would agree. We prefer college =)

haha i picked my words carefully, but i guess you could say pro football. i just think if the south loved football like they claim, they would love pro too. hahaha..the battle lives on!
