Unveiled: Change your world

Greetings! Its been a little while since I've written. I haven't had an internet connection for over a week (that I was willing to wait for at least) thus, no posts.

I left Ohio on December 27, right after the Steelers big win. I'm still a little upset we missed the playoffs, but thankful for how my January is freed up. I arrived in Atlanta late that night. With the snow storm and a late start it made for a longer trip, but I made it!

Staff report to Christmas Conference (Unveiled) on December 28. I had breakfast with Kathryn and Tyler (sooo fun!) and then headed to hotel. My motivation was the earlier I get there to start working the earlier we go to bed. Typically we are up until 3, 4, 5 in the morning working on the decor and ambiance. So I got there at 11 and started work. My plan worked! Or maybe it was just there was less to do this year, but we finished around 2 in the morning. Not so bad.

Then the conference really starts. Unveiled is a 4 day conference for students to gather from the South East region and worship the Lord. There is without fail incredible seminars, practical teaching and challenged lives. Its wonderful. Its one of my favorite things of the year, mostly because I've seen God change people year after year.

This year was no different. Through Tenth Avenue North and David Platt, God spoke. The theme this year was "Change Your World." I loved how the whole conference came together. The focus was on the poor, oppressed, and unreached, but that doesn't mean they ignored individual change in our little worlds. I really felt like I was attending the conference and not working it because of how much God revealed to me. I was able to engage and process throughout the week. It was awesome!

Unveiled ended on Jan 2. We packed things up and called it a day..or was it a week.

I'm so excited to see what God continues to do as a result of Unveiled. I really believe that students lives were changed. Through those changed students, our world is about to change.
