Where in the world...

Greetings from Denver Colorado.

I writing from a hotel lobby, a place I've become all too familiar with in the past two years. I actually love traveling, but lately have been gone more than I've been home. Either way, I'm gone right now and in Denver for a Summer Project conference/training/planning time.

The 4 day conference is filled with practical ways to lead a summer project along with inspiring vision to develop a heart for the world. It gives me chills to sit in a room with dozens of leaders, hundreds really, that this summer will represent Christ all over the world. Is it not cool to look around a room and think 'they are going to india, australia, spain, venezuela, argentina, croatia, asia, and the list goes on.' I can't help but to think of students of 'all nations, tribe, and tongue' that will hear the gospel as a result of the people I'm in meetings with.

So even though I didn't have the best of attitudes about the trip (mostly because I didn't want to be off campus and away from home) I'm thrilled to be here. I had a moment today where I thought "where in the world am I, every hotel looks the same" But my heart is captured by the thought of "where in the world will be different as a result of this weekend" That alone is worth anything I have to give up to be here.

Until Tuesday I'll be here. Then its home for a while...

Blessings from a winter wonderland.

That's so awesome. Every time I hear about stuff going on outside of the US I just get excited. I can't imagine how it must be seeing people prepping to go basically everywhere.
