I'll make this short.
Last Wednesday I successfully had jaw surgery. I made it just fine and am showing good signs of improvement. What they fail to mention in all the prep is how brutal the surgery can be. Maybe I'm extreme, but I've earned that right--not being able to eat, talk, brush your teeth, etc allows you that.
I had my lower jaw broken and moved forward along with wisdom teeth taken out. Swelling took on a new meaning when you saw me. But, thats starting to go down, so thats a good thing.
Doc says I'm doing well and on track. I guess its just a long track to be on. All that to say, I'm alive, just a bit distant. Hope all is well in your world. Eat something tasty for me.
Blessings.

Gracious I didn't know you were having jaw surgery again! As you know I can totally relate to all of those things, and the things you can't do. Not that that helps, but I can definitely sympathize.
I hope it heals up well without any problems and is successful! I'll definitely be praying for you.
I'm so sorry Christie. I had the flu last week and I thought my life sucked! :( I was happy to hear from your mom after your surgery though and I'm glad to hear things are on the up and up...
So sorry you are having to go through all of this! We never realize how much we use certain parts of our bodies until we can't use them! Praying for a speedy recovery!
Thanks friends. I'm getting better every day, but its driving me nuts. Its painful to not be able to talk, but worse, eat!
