Short getaway with some favs

We have a few days off. Its been much needed down time for me. I needed to just rest and be alone before the circus roles into town--literally. Tuesday night there is a 'fair' for all of Crusade and its quite the event. Thats the kick off to the staff conference here and a good indicator that for the next 10 days, alone time will be hard to come by.

So this weekend, I've tried to be intentional about getting away.

Thus, me and 9 others are heading to Vail tomorrow. We have rented a place for the night and are just getting away. The best part of it all, is I love everyone thats going. You know sometimes you go on these weekend getaways and you know half the people, well thats not the case. I love everyone going and it makes me so excited to go!

Another perk, is our plan is that we have no plans. We are just getting away! Sure, we will have dinner and walk around the mountain town, but there is nothing that is set in stone. I'm sure we will hang out at the place we rented and just enjoy each others company.

I'm looking forward to a change of scenery and some good company. We leave in the morning and get back Monday night. Hopefully some good stories will follow.

Tuesday is when a lot of my other staff friends begin to arrive that have not been here all summer, so I'm really looking forward to seeing them. Fun few weeks ahead :)
