The Open

As the Us Open came to an end last night, I confess, I'm a little sad. As of late, I feel like all I've done is watch tennis. Its on for like 8 hours a day and then when you have the tennis channel, you can literally watch it 24 hours a day.

Its become my Olympics. You know, when the Olympics are on for those two weeks and you are literally glued to the TV. It doesn't matter what the sport is, who the athletes are, for some reason you are captivated. Thats how the Open has been. A lot of the players I don't know but its just such good tennis and the energy unmatchable.

So I'm a bit sad that its over. Although the last 4 or 5 days have been the best, as the matchups are top notch player against top notch player. The elite.

Sports just have a way to draw me in. In the meantime, I'll prepare for college football and NFL each weekend, along with playoff baseball coming up! The start of NBA and NHL is just around the corner. There is much to watch. Oh, there is much to watch!
