Getting ready to catching up.

Classes begin for UA students a week from tomorrow. Already, it feels like things are in full swing.

This week, I began doing things with international students. All new international students arrived by Sunday night, so I've done a few things with them to begin to make connections. Its a fresh reminder of why I love working with students from other countries.

At the same time thats going on, we are working on final things to prepare for the start of the semester. Its going to be crazy busy, but in a good way. I'm thankful there is a need for what we do. People want to meet with us and thus I have a job. Its a pleasure to do what I do!!

Although its a week away, I can feel it in the air that really the semester is underway here in Tuscaloosa. Things are busy and the to do list is longer each day. The getting ready now feels like catching up!

Even still, I'm sooo excited for all the students to be here. I love fall and I thrive with a lot to do!
