In the last few days, several things have happened where the Lord has been sweet to give me a glimpse into the 'now.' I'll choose to be vague here, but basically I've gotten to see the result of investment. We often don't know what the outcome is, and for many people thats the case in my life, but just in the last few days, I've come to know of several things. I just think its a sweet time for me to know that its worth it.
I was telling someone just the other day that I'm tired. I'm starting the semester in ministry tired, so can only imagine how I'll feel in November. But to have these small encouragements, is just a reminder that its just a job--its lives. People are impacted. I'm soo thankful to know the things I've been finding out.
Pauls last letter to Timothy, his closest disciple is touching. He says in 1:5 "..and Im sure that [sincere faith] is in you as well" Dont you think Timothy deeply wanted to scream out to Paul and say YES, it is!!! As Paul continues to encourage his brother, I suspect Timothy was moved to live to his 'holy calling' To that, I'm encouraged.

That's so great to hear! I hope the little encouragements keep on coming. Sometimes it's def tough working and not knowing if anything is paying off... we just have to keep realizing that we're not really in control! Good luck with the rest of this semester in your new role!
