Football all the time

For two weekends in a row, pretty much all I've done is watch football. I've gotten some odds and ends done around the house, but for the most part, I've been glued to the TV. Its blocked PAT with seconds left in the game, kick off returns taken to the house, and Knowshon leaping five feet into the air over guys left and right that keep me coming back for more. Better yet, NFL has started up this week, which means when Saturday is over, Sunday is still to come.

Its been great, the much anticipated fall. My teams are on top of many polls but thats not even what makes it great. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love having UGA and OSU as a one two punch, or there abouts, but great games, SEC football, Big Ten run it in the ground hard nose style, I just can't get enough. Then today sitting at the bar watching the Steelers light it up to start the season, it really doesn't get any better than that.

I love the weeks because I love my job. Not a day in the week is a bad day....but I certainly love the weekends too, especially in the fall. Football is here, and I'm loving it! I remember thinking when the Olympics were over 'thank goodness these are done so I can get on with my life and sleep a little more' Well, I'm back to being sucked into the world of sports, and loving it!

Seriously... When the Olympics were over, I thought "What am i going to watch??" Then the DNC started. Then it was over and I thought, "What am I going to watch??" Then the RNC started. Then that was over and I thought...well, you know. And then I turned on football. Some people think television should be limited in life. I am not one of those people.
