The Steelers were on. I gave my insight to the refs, Coach Tomlin and the players. I'm sure they heard me. Up until the third quarter, the game was rather lame. 13-3 with Heinz field booing is not something I'm used to. We stick with our fans through thick and thin. But for 8 quarters we were without a TD and it was hurting. We were on our 4th string running back, without most of our d line and several other key guys and people were getting anxious, including me as I took my terrible towel and almost put it through the TV.
Mid way through the 3rd, it got interesting. Ben dropped back and hit Holmes for a 40 yard TD. :15 laters Harrison knocked the ball loose from Flacco and Woodley ran in his first TD from 7 yards out. It was now 17-13 with the fans electric. All of Tuscaloosa had to have heard me. I was screaming so loud, I know its lame, but I was. I was alone but I didn't care. I don't care that no one wants to watch the games with me and that no one in this town cares about NFL. I'm so into it that my conversation with the TV kept me occupied. Football just got interesting, especially in the AFC as Pitt beat up on Balt to now lead the division, the way it ought to be.
Yelling at the TV works during football games. You should try it. I think it makes your team play better.
