A few weeks back I was on Faith Hill's site reading her blog. I found the Sunday Night Football page and found my way to that page. The fan of the week page caught my eye, and I thought, hummm, I bet I could be the fan of the week. I mean, really, I'm probably in the top percentile when it comes to true fans. But how do you communicate that to someone over the internet??
I sent in a picture (which wasn't even my best...) and described my deep love for the Steelers. A few weeks went by and I had completely forgotten about it. Then this morning I got the email saying I was chosen for this weeks fan of the week and a prize package would be sent my way! I'm currently on the website, loud and proud!!
True colors really do shine through. I bleed black and gold, much of the family does. Its funny after a night like last night to win that. For SNF last night, I started 10 feet away from the TV and near the end of the game, I was waving my terrible towel vigorously about 6 inches from the TV. The game was close but the "righteous men of black and gold" pulled through. I will say this, my throat is a little sore today. Anything for a w. The life of being the "fan of the week"

This is awesome!! If anyone deserves it, it's you... I must say, I'm pretty sure this beats me getting cited on Dawgsports. You're famous! :)

I love your new background! I've been trying for a month to create a username on cutestblogontheblock, but for whaetever reason I can't ever get one. :( Once I get through midterms, I'm going to be doing some renovations to Barefoot Katie and possibly starting a Grassmeyers one. I know, I know...try to be patient. I'm sure you're pretty excited.
